Never really thought of it as a slur. Like a general-purpose slur against women? I don’t really agree, it’s in common parlance, at least in my area. I’ve never found it offensive, personally. Do they know the word exists? Words are meant to describe ideas, if you ban a word the idea isn’t going anywhere. People will just use other words to describe the same idea. Or they will just use the word, it will be removed but everyone will understand the idea.
