There are plenty of times when wireless solutions does not in fact “do trick”.

If you hire a software development firm and pay for them to build software for you, you will have a different license, the software company can just repackage open source software into their own UI and branding, take the money and declare bankruptcy if their customers try to sue them.

The customers are mostly happy, they get to tick the box that they have a support contract for the software and a company is liable if shit hits the fan. The software development company is happy, they get money for doing very little actual work.

The open source project probably doesn’t know about the abuse of the license and thus mostly doesn’t care.

TCAS, not “tea cast” (:

TCAS or the “Traffic Collision Avoidance System” is a system that monitors the local airspace around the aircraft, if it detects another aircraft’s transponder it will automatically exchange data with the other aircrafts, data like GPS position, altitude, speed, direction and more.

Then compares data received with it’s own, and determines the risk to the aircrafts involved, and if there is a risk of a mid air collision it will order the flight crew to take action and even cooperate with the other plane to order specific actions to both air crews.

One will be ordered to decend, the other to climb, and TCAS alerts are treated as a higher priority than even a controller.

I am in general a big proponent for going to go to the office, I am an IT guy, and I find I have more focus when in the office, I also don’t want to associate my home with work, I need the physical separation and I find it to be easier to coordinate with others in the office.

That being said, this CEO is stupid, loneliness is not cured by being forced to interact with people that I need to be paid to interact with.

I also realize that just because I find the office beneficial, does not mean I get to dictate how other people should feel about it.
