From Owl Rescue Centre
Just another one of our permanent residents showing her appreciation for all the donations towards her home.
I wonder what she’s thinking.
Despite their reputation as a creature of wisdom, their giant eyeballs don’t leave much space for brains. I like to imagine them as savants, dopey in most things, but calculating all sorts of advanced geometry, vectors, and trajectories for everything they’re sensing.
Regardless, I just hope they are having a good time doing whatever it is they are doing! ❤️
I think I read something recently about birds’ brains being much more neuron-dense than ours, so the small size is deceptive. Which makes sense.
He’s so fluffy!
Their expression looks like they may be down for a cuddle…but they’re still an owl so probably not. One can dream… 😊
This is what I see:
I would not recommend eating anything served to you by an owl. 🫢
I thought it was mousse!
Won’t make that mistake again! 😁
Uncle Sam vibes; We want YOUR donation!
