    Hospitals have plenty of places designed to keep people out, but not many that can keep people in. My grandmother broke out of her first dementia ward. Keeping people actually locked up and not in a place where they can simply walk the fuck out the door is insanely expensive because you actually have to feed and provide for them all day, every day and that takes way more manpower than simply PAYING FOR HOUSING.

      There’s a nice place in a swamp in Florida they just opened up where they’re willing to pay for housing.
