President Donald Trump gave a rambling answer when pressed about free speech concerns after right-wing activist Charlie Kirk was killed last week.

Trump made the remarks in an interview with Fox News’s Martha MacCallum on Thursday from Chequers, the U.K. Prime Minister’s country home. Trump has since departed the U.K. following a two-day state visit, which included a star-studded state banquet and a meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

I seriously want to be part of his autopsy. The amount of scientific knowledge we could glean on his neurological degeneration is limitless!

i’ve been kind of bummed that the MD that was going to autopsy me retired. we figured after i died we could take me apart properly so he could figure out what the hell went wrong, but he last practiced a decade ago. now i guess after i go i just want to be a skull with gems in its eyes and the rest of me composted into a lemon tree.

Nah, it’s just your average old demented asshole brain, nothing to see there

It’s much more interesting to figure out why it is that so many people look at him and think “well he is a great guy!”, then vote for him and think “well this is a great idea!”

Even though we already know why, it’s a combination of low education which had been formed by Republicans over the period of decades, entire generations, and a constant stream of legalized propaganda lies from the minds of fox, newswax, etc.

Hell, I had a comic as a little kid, 40 years ago, that taught dutch and world history (very recommendable, it’s super funny and taught me a lot) and I still remember the panel mentioning that each subsequent IS president was more the result of an popularity contest than being an actual good presidential candidate and that as a result the last few US presidents haven’t been the smartest one. That was talking about all up to Reagan.

So unfortunately, we know why we are here, it’s just now interesting to figure out how we got here without anyone going “wtf, why is any of this normal and how is it that nobody tried to stop this?” I already saw at bush II that each subsequent Republican presidential candidate was worse, then you had the one with that Alaskan woman who was mildly tardy and I knew that the next one would be a horror show, then the Cheeto came in. I didn’t know it would be te Cheeto, but I fully expected he level of idiocy and I wasn’t wrong.

Hell, when I was a kid, 40 years ago, Iused to have a comic that would teach dutch and world history (highly recommend, “van nul tot nu”, super funny and educational). I still remember the panel talking about how the past few US presidents were more the result of a popularity contest and that, as a result, the last few were not the smartest ones. That was talking about up to Reagan and it kept going down hill.

"These people are crazed lunatics, even the way they’ll answer, you know, it’s like, you’ll see them, and the things they say are really bad, but they look crazy,” Trump told MacCallum. “They’re almost crazed. Maybe they’re drugged out. Maybe there’s some other problem.”

Is… is he talking about himself here?
