I have 4 cats age 11, 11, 6, and 1. I also grew up with cats in my childhood home. In 34 years, I have never had a cat meow at another cat.

I have a few tiny couches for my cats. Not crochet, but one is velvet and the other is I guess regular cloth. They don’t really tear them up. Plus velvet is one of the best materials to have with cats. It cleans up easily and because of the way it’s made and feels, it’s not really fun or relaxing for them to claw it.

This person had been working on some new coding software that was created at the tech giant this person was working for. They get laid off with tech cutbacks and start looking for a new job. The new job required 5 years experience with the software… Software was created 2 years ago.

A few weeks ago I had to correct someone on Lemmy who was blaming Obama for the “great recession”. The comment even had a bunch of up votes.

Other people proceeded to also argue with me that Obama, who was sworn in on Jan 20th 2009, was responsible for the Great recession that started December 2007.

He won’t care about daily peaceful protests either. When we break down the adjectives “Daily” and “Peaceful”, change the frequency of the former won’t matter.
