I misread it and was sad that the millionaire hunter was killed. We should invent millionaire hunters.

Wolfenstein 3D is a lot less impressive than Doom. Doom was faster and more complex than other games, where as Wolfenstein had a strong and appealing gimmick but was slower and less complex as a trade-off. In-line with the expectations around compiled languages.
I see. That’s difficult. kcna.kp is the official website. If you need to verify something you can use archive.org and browse an old snapshot through there.
That’s the wrong website. I included a link in the post you’re replying to. You need to expand the spoiler. If you’re in the USA, Israel/Palestine or South Korea the site might be DNS-blocked. You can use http://www.kcna.co.jp/ as an archive in that case, they seem to mirror the articles.
You can just visit KCNA’s website, it’s a normal website. I’m disappointed to see communists spread this type of disinformation. Yes, Israel is an illegitimate state. No, North Korea is not so fragile and dire that they can’t afford to humanely and non-punitively re-educate the like one weirdo Zionist they might have.
This 'news' probably spawned from this article published 07/06/25. It doesn't talk about the same thing at all.
Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) – Israel’s “war machine” which plunged the whole area of Gaza in blood is running madly.
The Gaza area has already turned into a “ground hell” where the human existence environment was completely destroyed due to the war that has been going on for nearly two years.
Since October 2023, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli army has increased at least 56 000 and all the inhabitants in the Gaza Strip are facing food shortage. Of them, 470 000 are in “fatal hunger”, the worst stage in the international index on the food situation.
Even in the present situation that the humanitarian crisis has reached its extreme phase, Israeli murderers are constantly expanding military attacks in the Gaza Strip, which was turned into ruins, updating the record of genocide every day.
Where is the end of bloody massacre and destruction, indeed?
The Zionists have justified their unethical atrocities in the Gaza Strip under the pretext of the “hostage rescue” and “sweeping of Hamas (Islamic Resistance Movement of Palestine)” and have so far misled public opinion as if they were the end of bloodshed.
In the early days of the Gaza crisis, the prime minister of Israel asserted that Israel had no thought for permanently occupying Gaza or making the civilians emigrate from it, and that “the aim is to sweep away Hamas in Gaza and obtain hostages’ release.”
In contrast with this, the sweeping of Hamas has already turned into massacre of civilians, total destruction of existence environment and forcible exile of the inhabitants in Gaza and the release of hostages has been placed in the back long ago.
Voices to demand for ending war and realizing the humanitarian ceasefire are growing in Israel, saying that “sweeping of Hamas”, the main goal of the war, has not been achieved and the release of hostages is not feasible without negotiation. But the Zionists are persistently divorcing from this reality.
It is proved by the acts of the Israeli warmongers who deliberately broke the ceasefire which had been difficultly created through the mediation of the international community in the past and gradually expanded the war, thus fling away the opportunity to exchange thousands of Palestinian prisoners for their hostages.
The Israeli prime minister, who has recently become more upbeat under the patronage of his American master, is openly saying that there is no way to stop the war even if Israel brings hostages, swinging from his previous attitude of giving priority to the release of hostages.
The Israeli military warmongers’ rhetoric is more direct. They asserted that “we will act with all our efforts and will not stop action until all the goals are achieved, including the voluntary immigration plan of the Gaza residents” and “unlike in the past, the Israel Defense Forces will not withdraw from the seized areas (although the Gaza war ends),” openly agitating full occupation and annexation of the Gaza Strip.
The reality clearly shows that even if all the hostages are released, the bloody military atrocities in Gaza will continue with no reason and justification, and that only the result of the complete annexation of Gaza is the ultimate goal pursued by Israel and its behind-the-scene forces.
After all, the Zionists are committing heinous crimes, regarding not only the lives of Israeli hostages but also the lives of millions of Palestinians as victims of the Jewish state’s wild ambition for territorial annexation and hostages for realizing their ambition to dominate the Middle East.
The Jewish state’s crime to make peace in the Middle East and the rest of the world a sacrifice for realizing its expansionist ambition can never be tolerated. -0-

For those who are happy about this
It’s obviously a joke.
North Korea regarding Israel as an illegal state is real, but it’s not news. They’ve been calling for it to be dismantled and restructured into Palestine since 1989.
It was a bad situation. Two hundred people were murdered, among them innocent non-combatants, either bystanders or lawful protestors.
OOP is making the argument that yanks should clean up their own house first. The person you’re replying to is making the argument that the mentions of this event by westerners is cognitive dissonance, side-lining, essentially forgiving, comparable bad situations resulting from actions perpetrated in their name while disingenuously condemning their government-ordained enemies without knowledge or investment in the situation.
As a leftist, you sometimes make the argument that evidence of the western institutional dishonesty can be found in seeing what events are mythologised and exaggerated. Take a scenario where something bad happened, but the western myth is something worse. Or perhaps something sad and regrettable happened, but the western myth omits context and details such that it seems malicious. You might then challenge someone to contemplate why the myths exist in the forms they do. Wouldn’t you benefit from an accurate understanding? It’s tiring to hear that answered with only “both sides”, since it’s obvious the person you’re talking to didn’t actually contemplate the contradiction, and instead defaulted to their programming. Western programming allows allies infinite culpability to an infinite number of crimes because they are all ultimately forgiven with flimsy and inevitable excuses.
Brits insist they’re a democracy, don’t they? They’re included in the “Democratic west vs authoritarian east” rhetoric. Weird how the goalpost shifts when your side is transparently coming out worse.
Aria@lemmygrad.mlto Memes@lemmy.ml•But yet the DPRK is still "a threat to world peace"? Interesting 🤔😁6·14 days agoThe dictators that the USA supports are people who don’t have popular support or a pre-existing legal framework they derive their power from. They are governors working as proxies for the USA, deriving their authority from the USAs guns. It doesn’t just mean people you don’t like. Russia’s “democracy” is as legitimate as most European liberal democracies. The DPRK has never propped up a dictator, they don’t have the power to.
Aria@lemmygrad.mlto United States | News & Politics@lemmy.ml•Seems like TikTok has gone through a bit of adjustment1·7 months agoLiterally only one of those is a legitimate political position. “Taiwan Independence”. And it’s a position you’re allowed to broadcast on RedNote if you show any sort of knowledge and tact.
Hong Kong was liberated in 97, and apartheid was slowly dismantled afterwards, and they’ll eventually be liberated from liberalism and then capitalism when it’s possible. Nothing platitudes don’t make that happen faster. If you care about the liberation of Hong Kongers, then do real political activism in Hong Kong with real policy suggestions.
What does remember Tienanmen Square 1989 mean? Because to me and any reasonable content moderator, it looks like you’re trying to say “People died, be angry!” as opposed to actually advocating or cautioning about anything actionable. Are you making an anti-CIA appeal? Anti-IMF? Pro-IMF? Pro-Mao? Anti-Deng? Are you trying to say “If the soldiers weren’t unarmed, we could’ve avoided bloodshed”? Because then you’re basically saying soldiers acting as police should’ve shot then innocent people, which is illegal. You’re advocating for violence, of course that’s going to be removed by moderators. Of course you’re not actually trying to say anything at all, because you are both politically illiterate, and because you know nothing of the event. Instead what you’re trying to say is “I’ve seen a lot of photos of tank man, and I heard the Chinese censored news about the gunfights, I am very invested in that act of censorship failing because my government told me to be”. That’s not advocating for anything, you’re just attacking the state, armed with rumour. Outside of China, in most countries, you’re allowed to do that. But that doesn’t make it not trolling.
Xi Jingping, the normal-skinned human is not a yellow bear. If you want to call Xi greedy or a messy eater or whatever else you imagine Winnie The Pooh communicates beyond a stereotype attacking all east Asians, then say that instead. Because otherwise it’s just going to look like you’re being racist, which should be removed.
Why when you want to demonstrate censorship on Rednote do you choose topics which legitimately should be moderated, if only for community vibes. Do you want ‘Free Speech Absolutist’ edgelords setting the tone for the platform?

The principle of copyleft is that you can’t encourage a free environment without some level of militantism. If you accept user hostile software like Steam alongside copyleft applications, then you’re fighting on the side of that hostility, on the side of theft and oppression.
Many newer popular FOSS softwares advocates stronger for libertarianism than collective protection, but it’s the strictly libre software that has been the backbone historically.
Users benefit from software, not from other users. Non-FOSS software already exists, and would exist without libre initiatives.
Do you think more users, even if apolitical or incidental will best increase the amount of quality FOSS software being written in the long run, or a smaller but principled and politically motivated user base? Will no-strings free-to-use softwares encourage more new FOSS software or a treasure trove of existing quality libraries that can only be used if you agree to stop oppressing the user?
If we use Valve as a case-study, then they have taken freely available software and created a product out of it. They have contributed back to that software, and because of their contribution Windows-emulation is now better for FOSS users. But they haven’t made any of their previous products less oppressive. They created a Linux-product to escape Microsoft’s power over them, and their business is charging rent from all game developers. Compared to almost anyone else, they have very little to loose by making their products user respecting and FOSS. They didn’t chose to do this. Would they have had, if the work they appropriated to create the Steamdeck software had even more militant terms of use?
