Besides corn they also feed the animals soy. I know this because importing soy protein isolate is cheaper when it’s for animals instead of human consumption even if it’s essentially the same thing.

Completely right. People forget technology like Amazon’s Alexa (not an endorsenent) existed before LLMs. Speech recognotion just got better.
