I’m not backing the take itself, as other said it is widely extrapolation, but i don’t really understand how the fact that cats meowing only/mostly at their mom and humans would invalidate the theory that humans and cats are the same category in cats’ minds, since they use it for both cats and humans. It could indicate that they consider humans kinda like parents cats or just parents, maybe, but i don’t see how it indicates that they could consider humans as non cats.

It does not seem like a bot to me, what makes you think of it ? And even if it was a bot, what makes you say that it is “cosplaying as an Arab” ?

Is it really hard to make a classic beer bottle stand in sand? I’d think that by “screwing” it you can make the sand underneath flat enough, but i never actually tried so I’m maybe missing some obvious practical obstacle.

And Piefed too! But yeah, it makes sense to only show the software that your instance actually use, in case users have a software compatible with Lemmy and not Mbin and vice-versa (i think Lemmy, Mbin and Piefed are completely compatible, but that could be the case with future software options!)
