People complaining about Trump covering up child abuse in the past when he’s openly abusing children right now. Wouldn’t be out of character for Trump to literally let his pedo friends have their way with immigrant children.

I’m telling you now, it is not a significant minority. The same amount of people that will wake up from this will have always had a chance to wake up for one reason or another. Conspiratorial mindset is not philosophical, but personal; people do not escape based on any evidence. They escape because of personal changes like in their friend groups or careers, not because of news stories. Stop thinking of this as based on facts or ideology, but based on identity. Stop thinking facts will win a war of emotion.

I’m saying that the standards are so low that not being an illegal person by virtue of existing is counting yourself lucky. Americans will never have healthcare as a right as long as the American government is the American government.

What leverage? What can Trump being revealed actually do to stop him? I’m telling you, it basically doesn’t matter.

Even if she was, this is absolutely unacceptable treatment of a human being. Her actually doing that would not warrant such treatment, even if she was actually convicted (she wasn’t even charged). There is no due process anymore in America, which we should never consider normal and always consider newsworthy.

The Epstein-Trump controversy was always a distraction that would never lead anywhere. The misogynists of MAGA who groom young people into their fascist cult and pass child marriage laws would never seriously turn against Trump for this. They’re too satiated by him finally delivering actual purges of undesirable to be disappointed in him.

I’m annoyed that people kept making such a big deal out of a controlled controversy with no teeth. My guess is that worrying about deathcamps for minorities and the poor is too painful. I get it; it’s not fun to think about how awful and hopeless things seem. That doesn’t mean burying your head in a dead end controversy is the answer.
