Are they really required to obey?

I was under the impression that as PIC you can tell ATC that you are unable to follow instructions but you better be able to back it up later (ie. Flying VFR and ATC tells you to fly into a cloud). Following TCAS over ATC is definitely defensible unlike the famous 1NR. I don’t know if it’s required but it certainly seems like a good idea

I’m aware that our beloved president is fascist. I’m aware that everything I learned about how the government works is not really working. While we aren’t full on fascist yet, the checks and balances that we are supposed to have keep giving in.

I’m very supportive of the 2nd Amendment yet I don’t own a gun. The US is fast approaching the point where I will need to exercise that right to defend my family and my community. We are not there yet, but we keep getting closer. I have secured a promise from my Canadian spouse that we will move to Canada before that happens. We’ll see.

They are the only reason I haven’t started protesting and/or moved away. I usually hate expressing political views offline, in public. We are wellllll past that point now.
