“people who drink water have more hydrogen dioxide molecules in them”
edit: yes i see my error now and ill just leave it 💃
i got my tubes tied and the option of adopting played a huge role. I cannot stand the idea of pregnancy, thats why I wanted my own tubes tied, rather than my partner having a vasectomy, that way I am in control. But I don’t hate kids, and I’m not entirely against the idea of adopting a kid down the road. Especially one thats a little older, I’m also not too fond of babies lmao
i just got my tubes tied at 23. I think I felt so strongly about it because pregnancy would be destroying my own body. You don’t really have to worry too much about that, but I still understand wanting to make the decision young. IVF would be an option for me if I were to change my mind. Maybe get some frozen just in case? Adoption is also a wonderful option! Best wishes
i disagree. my elementary school started later and thats the age when parents really need to be more present. and as a kid i had no issue getting up early vs as a teen. they should just flip it. teens on a bus route, or hell even witj friends with a car, are way more capable of getting themselves to school
but these changes are small in the whole of it. we live a fossil fuel reliant lifestyle. what would you be willing to give up? cars as a whole? electronics as a whole? indoor climate control? constant hot water? heavy meat consumption? global travel? people care, but the human demand for all of these is heavy and hard to shake. sooner or later they may not be an option anymore
pugsnroses77@sh.itjust.worksto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How did you decide what you generally wanted to do with your life?9·20 days agothe only reason I look out sometimes is because my world is so small and I know there’s so much else out there that I don’t know about. Plus, I was a sheltered child so asking outwards means I get a variety of perspectives to choose and learn from rather than whatever bs my parents taught me
i hate eggs and regularly type/say that and always get ads for eggs
