The Liberals only went along with a very limited pharmacare program because they NDP could topple them. They vilified the NDP more than the Conservatives in the election campaign, and now that the NDP was decimated because progressive voters wanted to make sure Poilievre didn’t get elected, the Liberals don’t need to pretend they care about pharmacare any more.

    Yup no surprise.

There’s a lot of progressive voters who go hoodwinked by this man. True wolf in sheeps clothing.

At least there’s a possibility for a progressive vote maybe next time.

PP would have likely sold out Canada to Trump as a state at this point.

Carney was never a friend, just the enemy of the enemy.

      Stop with that.

Lib voters voted to prevent the absolute worst option, the conservatives.

Until we have ranked choice voting and we’re free to vote our conscience without risk of the cons winning on a split non-con vote, that’s how it is going to be.

Canadian citizens already voted to pass electoral reform. The government does not represent them unfortunately.

How are people this short sighted? He’s a fucking banker. Of course he’s going to do this sort of thing.

I think they’re surprised because he’s a banker with a track record of seeing things in the long term.

We can’t even fund our basic healthcare after 10 years of the Liberals. How many citizens don’t have a doctor, and what is the wait time at the ER?

Health is the domain of the provinces. If you have an issue talk to Danielle Smith. Don’t ask me how I know you are in Alberta.

The doctor issue is provincial. So are ER wait times. What do you expect Ottawa to do about that?

Do something undemocratic, so they can complain about something legitimate for once!

How dare the federal government deprive them of that, they have nothing else to live for.

Way to not understand the system you are criticizing.

Edit: also fuck off with the immigration bullshit.

We have had a declining birth rate every year since 1973. Our economy would have dried up and died if we didn’t have a way to grow and capitalism is based on the principle of infinite growth. Cons are foaming at the mouth trying to destroy this place.
