The Trump administration said states and cities will not receive funding to prepare for natural disasters if they choose to boycott Israeli companies.

There’s no way in hell that ‘ideology’ that supports the executive branch, as a requirement for funding, will survive the courts.

Most likely not, but it is not costless to have to fight that battle for those who need FEMA support. Even if they prevail, they’ve been punished for not submitting to Trump’s ideological demands.

We still have SOME law. I want to see what they spin to make it legal to have FEDERAL LE pursue state senators for exercising their procedural and legal rights.

I’m hearing ‘taking bribes’ as what they’re going to go for… but, I want to see that stated under oath and in a court that doesn’t have a stooge presiding.

Even the current SCOTUS would reject this nonsense. OK, Alito and Thomas might be paid off, but still, the court would sink this.

OTOH, 34 states already have laws against boycotting Israel, and those haven’t been torpedoed.

Anyone know how these BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions) laws stand up in court?
