Owning a firearm for you is a right, for everyone else around the world it’s a privilege. Being a responsible firearms owner is more important than you may think, which means proper storage of ammunition, parts and guns themselves.
Home invasions happen my dude. Why not be prepared?
Yes, they do happen however, your response should be proportionate in such an event. Again for you self defence in your home is a right given the castle doctrine law, not everyone who possesses a firearm has the right to shoot intruders.
Trigger can’t pull itself
No but an un-informed individual could load truncated ammo into a tubular magazine, drop the gun and have their entire upper receiver blow off.
you gun nuts crack me up.
What’s nuts is your blatant carelessness in regard to firearm ownership and handling.

It’s certainly not responsible of you to keep a loaded firearm next to your bed, that sounds like paranoia, if you’re an American then you’re just going to ignore this comment however, if you legally own a firearm outside of America please be responsible and take safety seriously.
ohshit604@sh.itjust.worksto News@lemmy.world•Phoenix police: Dad distracted by online videos when toddler shot himselfEnglish0·4 days agoNever store a firearm loaded. Firearm safety 101. If you own guns but not a safe or a shit ton of trigger or action locks then you’re doing it wrong.

They’re certainly talking about it but they haven’t announced a date yet.
Apologies, I striked the lines out of my previous comment. It simply was an example of how you still can be captured.

Keep In mind that you can still be captured by this feature indirectly,
Discord for example certainly doesn’t intend to do anything to hide your messages, they recently went public so in their eyes more tracking the better.
I know it but I haven’t seen a good way of doing a long quote.
Just gotta do the start of each paragraph.
This is an example of a paragraph
This is paragraph 2
This is paragraph 3 without the leading
This is paragraph 4
The comment actually looks fine in a code block on my app so I thought it was good enough. Didn’t realise how shit it looked on desktop until you brought it up.
Each application will handle markdown differently, I would just stick with what is documented by Lemmy devs.
Why did you use a code block for a quote?
Not a single soul asked for it, waste of company resources.
