Sadly the propaganda campaign to blame minorities and the defunding of education has been a big success. The wealthy are winning the class war, and probably will until most people are starving.

Damn this is crazy relevant. This morning i was at some guys place and instead of a conversation, smalltalk, or shutting up, he rambled about minorities, how he doesn’t care about the climate because people in africa burn tires and how “green people” are ruining the planet. I always find it crazy that people are comfortable to just unload their bullshit on strangers like that. I didn’t give him any indication that i agree with him. I just shrugged a lot and said: “that’s one way to see it.” Or: “haha… That’s dumb”.

Unless you are actively fearing for your health and safety you can not be passive in those situations. You need to at least try and talk him out of that sort of bullshit. He is at the point of being extremely destructive to himself and others to the point where if it’s not stopped now it becomes a health and safety concern for everyone within a few bacon degrees.

The only people who might be able to reach him are those he lets in, in your case literally.

Yeah, and these people are mentally challenged and actively looking for guidance whether they admit it or not. A “friend” of mine got swindled by American propaganda and put some shamefully large amount of money on one of the Trump coins and was fully supportive of him and we lived in Marseille, France! After one or two talks where I mostly just rolled my eyes when he was working hard at rationalizing his idol’s behaviour and background with the propaganda (and after losing money, lol, but it’s a small price to pay not to be corrupted), he actually said something close to “maybe Trump is just like the rest, he just fooled me well” and we ended our Trump talks with a friendly hand on his shoulder and me saying “maybe, maybe, you know what I think about this whole thing”. And this person believes in a “flat but with a sky dome” Earth too, and I really never disliked listening to him talk about all that shit, but in my house we don’t tolerate immoral stupidity/confusion!

Sometimes, I really wish universal voting is not a thing. But it’s hard to think of a filtering metric that is not abusable to attain selfish benefits.

Maybe the lowest hanging fruit, is that on the voting ballot, they don’t list the person’s party, just the name.
