Its how the media works my dude. They’re mostly owned by fatcat billionaires. Its largely probably not even about clicks at this point as it is about finding groups to “other” your viewers/readers into being afraid of.
If people started hearing about how the largest demographics are going insane because rich people want more money then even the really racist people might start asking questions.
